We work with developers, asset owners, architects, engineering consultants, contractors, façade contractors, specialist subcontractors, facility managers and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Our engineers work with the applicable local Fire & Life Safety regulations, such as the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice, the Saudi Building Code (SBC), the National Building Code of India (NBC) and internationally recognised codes and standards, including but not limited to NFPA, IBC, IFC, ASTM, BS, and EN, as applicable to each project.
Yes. Butler can support the complete project lifecycle—from concept and detailed design through authority approvals, construction inspections, testing, commissioning, final compliance and ongoing building-safety requirements.
Yes. We provide independent inspections of penetration firestop systems, fire-resistive joint systems and related passive fire protection assemblies to verify that installations comply with approved systems, project requirements and applicable standards.
Yes. Our building-envelope services include façade and firestop system assessments, technical reviews, inspections, compliance evaluations, risk assessments and authority approval support.
Yes. We assess existing buildings to identify Fire & Life Safety deficiencies, evaluate applicable compliance requirements and establish practical measures for reducing risk and resolving identified issues.
Our experience includes high-rise and supertall buildings, airports, rail and metro systems, residential and commercial developments, hotels, hospitals, retail and entertainment destinations, industrial facilities, warehouses, government buildings, major infrastructure and existing properties.
We work with the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction for each project and hold Civil Defence / House of Expertise credentials across key regional jurisdictions, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. We also coordinate with free-zone authorities, developers and other project-specific regulators where required.
Yes. We support projects throughout the approval process—from establishing the applicable requirements and reviewing the design to preparing submissions, responding to authority comments and supporting the project through final approval.
